TWS employs non-destructive methods utilizing state-of-the-art electromagnetic induction (EMI) and ground penetrating radar (GPR) equipment to locate utilities and identify subsurface hazards and obstructions.  Our goal is to identify both the type and location of underground utilities in order to prevent damage to them and the surrounding environment as well as protect you and your workers on the job site.    Contact us to learn more or obtain a quote.

TWS offers a full range of facilities support services including brush clearing; turnkey waste transportation & disposal; mat placements to create work platforms, access roadways and staging areas; passive soil gas sampling surveys; vapor pin installations; pit excavations; procurement of miscellaneous equipment, (i.e. conex boxes, construction equipment, silt fencing, porta-johns, etc.) and light earth work.     Contact us to learn more or obtain a quote.

Facilities Support Services

TWS provides mat placement services in work zones (e.g. wetlands) where access by equipment, both small and large, would otherwise be restricted due to challenging and/or unstable ground conditions.  Mats are placed to create access roadways, staging areas, work platforms, protect prepared subgrades, and to provide equipment stability on soft or sensitive surfaces.  TWS has designed and fabricated special tooling specifically for this service to create efficiencies and reduce overall project costs.   Contact us to learn more or obtain a quote.

Passive Soil Gas Samling

Passive soil gas surveys utilize adsorbent samplers that are emplaced subsurface to adsorb volatile and semivolatile organic compounds (VOCs and SVOCs) in soil gas without forcing the flow rate of gas, yielding a more representative sample than active soil gas methods. Samplers are typically placed in a grid pattern to simultaneously sample trace levels of compounds in soil gas that originate from contamination in soil or groundwater. By sampling all locations at the same time, the temporal variations in soil-gas concentrations that are known to occur daily and even hourly are normalized. Lower sampling and analytical costs of the method allow for more locations to be sampled than normally would be with a fixed budget.  Contact us to learn more or obtain a quote.
